Is BBC's Jeremy Clarkson racist?

Big news for Indian as per one of the news website says
Controversial TV personality Jeremy Clarkson has once again been accused of racism after mocking Indian culture in a 'Top Gear' Christmas Special on BBC.

Viewers were furious after Clarkson staged a series of Carry On style digs at India's trains, toilets, clothing, food and history, The Daily Mail reported.

At one point, the controversial presenter ridiculed the unhygienic conditions and lack of sanitation among the poor by driving around the slums in a Jaguar fitted with a toilet.

A spokesman for the BBC said they have been 23 complaints about content "offensive to India" in the programme, which was broadcast on Wednesday evening.

As per me, there was nothing racist in that show

He never implied people of Indian race are unclean. I am sure he doesn't think the Indians living in UK, Sri Lanka, Australia, etc are unclean.
He is only saying people in India are unclean, which is a fact. No need to call this racism, perhaps nationalism because he is degenerating a nation but not a race. But face it guys, India is dirty.Even middle class people live dirty lives in India. It is time to face the facts....India is DIRTY and what people of India will do about it nothing there are bins on street but people still throw rubbish on street.
They eat pan and Gutaka ( tobacco ) but they will spit on the streets.
Do you think Jeremy is a racist? Post your comments in the message board below

10 reasons Why India will never become a developed country

1) Corruption in the country.

Our corruption index have back pedalled for many years. Each year getting from bad to worse. As long as our politicians and civil servants are well schooled in the fine art of corruption, the less likelihood the chance for our country to progress to a develop country. No one can disagree in this with me.

2) Judiciary
Our country's judiciary has totally lost the confidence. They have made a lot of decisions based on political expediency rather than on the rule of law.

3) Racial Discrimination.

In today's border-less world any form of racial discrimination is viewed with abhorrence. Not only is it repulsive but it is totally unaccepted in every uncivilized country's. But here in India its a way of life, people discriminate fellow country men every day in whatever way they can. As an Indian i know this, any one from India say they don't then its a lie, We discriminated on their skin colour,  on their state, what language they speak, on religion, on cast system list goes on. Every one is ready to discriminate as much they can.

4) Growing gap b/w rich and poor -Recipe for disaster

India's GDP is  around 7% to 9% but still gap between Rich and a poor is too high. In ever 30 minutes a farmer commit suicide and in 1 hr 3200 people die with water borne diseases.

5) Environmental degradation
Environmental issues in India are many. Air pollution, water pollution, garbage pollution and wildlife natural habitat pollution challenge India. The situation was worse between 1947 through 1995. According to data collection and environment assessment studies of World Bank experts, between 1995 through 2010, India has made one of the fastest progress in the world, in addressing its environmental issues and improving its environmental quality. Still, India has a long way to go to reach environmental quality similar to those enjoyed in developed economies. Pollution remains a major challenge and opportunity for India.

6) Apathy of the media -
Media is of India is a joke for TPR They can put any false news on Air. eg-
The TRP ratings of Zee News was soaring on Monday as it discovered the cave on an 8,000 ft high hill in Sri Lanka where they claimed that Ravana's body was kept in a casket (taboot). and people go crazy about this news.

7) political fragmentation and policy incoherence-

8) Disturbance in Northeast and j&k- Jammu and Kashmir is no longer the hot bed of militancy and separatist violence in the country as the conflict-ridden northeastern states have surpassed it in respect of insurgency-related violence and civilian casualties. The northeastern states recorded 1,489 incidents of insurgency-related violence in 2007 while Jammu and Kashmir recorded about 900 incidents, according to the latest report titled, Status Paper on Naxal Activities, prepared by the ministry of home affairs.

In Northeast ( Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Meghalaya, Manipur, Mizoram, Nagaland, and Tripura plus Sikkim) states is certainly larger than J&K and even the political situation is different…the cause of the terrorism is not as homogenous as it seems. The same news item does in fact acknowledge that amongst the northeastern states, it is Assam which is worst affected. In fact 40 percent of the violence mentioned has taken place in Assam, with 12 insurgent groups operating from there.

9) very unstable neighborhood

10) Literacy & POPULATION GROWTH

Shame on you Mumbai- few hundred people turn up in the Fight against corruption

There is a person called Anna Hazare's whose health mounted on Wednesday afternoon with doctors advising him to end his fast as its continuance could affect his kidneys. The 74-year-old activist's sodium and chloride levels have gone down and there are signs of dehydration but no congestion in chest or throat.
"We strongly advise discontinuing the fast as continuing it may lead to kidney failure. There is evidence of dehydration," Ashwin Mehta of city's Jaslok Hospital, who examined Hazare along with P P Lahane, Dean of JJ Hospital, said. But what is get after all this check out below-

On Day 2, Anna Hazare's fast hardly has any crowd. what is the point of fighting for corruption when no one want to be part of it.

The second day of Anna Hazare's three-day long fast saw only a limited number of people at the MMRDA ground in Mumbai's Bandra-Kurla Complex locality on Wednesday.

First  photo from left is from Mumbai (shame) and  left photo is from Delhi. where people supports the cause.

On Tuesday, when the 74-year-old Hazare had started his fast, the estimate of people at the venue varied between 4,000 to 10,000, which was in sharp contrast to up to 30,000-40,000 that poured in Delhi's Ramlila Maidan in August."It seems people of Mumbai are busy with work. They don't have time for social causes...burning issues like corruption," I feel like the people of Mumbai don't care, they are happy with the corruption and corrupt government and why not 90% of people are corrupt anyway. Shame on the people of Mumbai.

As per the news

The crowd is much less than what we had expected from Mumbai. Had Anna been fasting in Delhi, the response would have been phenomenal. But the crowd was relatively low in all parts of the country, except Delhi, maybe it was due to the year-end," he said.

Majority of the supporters present at the venue are from the northern states of the country like Uttar Pradesh, Haryana and Punjab.

"The crowd has been relatively low here, compared to Delhi. It was much less than what I had expected. We haven't seen many Mumbaikars. Instead, a lot of people from different parts of the country are here to support," Pavitra Singh, who came from Punjab.

The crowd might be less due to several reasons like reports on the threat to Anna would have stopped people from coming here. Also, the place is a commercial hub, so the working class come and go as per their convenience," he said.

Singh, who is fasting, works for a local NGO in Punjab that focuses on issues related to youths.

Even a top Hazare aide, who did not wish to be named, expressed disappointment over the poor turn out.
Now who can will help India against corruption when the people of India don't want to fight.
